Sculpture
This piece was inspired by the first 100 days of Donald Trump's presidency, during which he signed over 142 executive orders. For some Americans, these actions represented progress and a stronger nation; for others, they signaled division and deterioration. The work explores the polarized responses to his administration's early decisions and the lasting impact of that divide.
Some of these orders included the defunding of U.S. aid programs in favor of the newly established DOGE initiative, significant cuts to federal funding for medical research, and heightened tariffs that devalued the U.S. dollar—affecting small businesses and international relations. Additionally, the escalation of immigration raids raised serious concerns about human rights violations and the erosion of constitutional protections.
