Equilibrio

Design

"Life is a balance between holding on, and letting go." — Rumi

Equilibrio reimagines the simple act of drinking water as a quiet practice in presence. The vessel's base is drawn down to half an inch, weighted by a solid inch of glass — a deliberate instability that turns each sip into a small meditation. Care for it, and it stands; neglect it, and it falls.

The glass rests on a bronze cylinder pedestal — a material chosen for its grounding weight and its kinship with glass as a recyclable, elemental form. Together they speak to a harmony between object and earth, attention and intention.

Produced in an edition of one hundred per year, each piece is numbered by tally marks beside a logo drawn from the vessel's aerial view — the perspective of the drinker beginning the practice. Equilibrio is not only an object for drinking or display. It is a symbol of the living body: sustained by water, held upright by awareness, and reawakened from the blindness of routine.
